My Zero Waste travel kit brought to you by a minimal waste bed and breakfast with a big heart. Many independent b&bs and hotels are happy to accommodate zero waste guests. I simply contacted them in advance and ask them to keep the single use toiletries out of the room. I said that I’d be bringing my own and I’m trying to avoid wasting plastic.
The staff was very accepting and curious about how they could minimize their waste production as well! What an awesome place. They up-cycled retired train cabooses to use as hotel rooms. So creative! My kit here includes my deodorant, tooth paste and bamboo tooth brushes.
