Everything we discard ends up somewhere. The concept of “out of sight, out of mind” is dangerously accelerating climate change. Often, our trash ends up either land-filled, burned, or sold to poorer countries to be land-filled or burned with little or no carbon capture or environmental regulations. When I buy a product, I look at everything it’s wrapped in. If any piece of the item or its packaging cannot be reused, composted or recycled, I try to find an alternative. If I can’t find one, I make one. 🌏
