I just read this quote in a CNN article published today titled, “Sixth mass extinction: The era of ‘biological annihilation.'”
It’s not new information, by any means, but it’s still alarming to read. And it’s more important than ever to continue to try to be as close to zero waste as we possibly can. Anthropogenic climate change can no longer be stopped.
Armed with that, we can still mitigate it. That means do as much as we can to lessen the effects. We can no longer sit idly by while our government denies global warming and takes scientific data off the White House website.
The rest of the world is screaming at us and it’s time we scream too. Germany, I truly admire the courage and compassion you showed at the protests this last week.
